OnSite Clarity provides a rich set of features. Here is a list of the most commonly asked questions. If you do not find an answer to your question here, please contact us. Requirements:

Hosting:
OnSite Clarity is a hosted solution (on-demand, SaaS). The application is hosted in our datacenter for the client. The client has
full access to their data. Monthly subscription fees include hosting, upgrades, and support as defined for each edition.
Servers have an up-time of 99.9%. We do not offer an SLA.
Upgrades and system maintenance are done during off hours.
Data center is located in California (west coast time zone).
Data:
Administrative account users can download the data at any time.
Data is backed up twice a day and stored to a remote server.
User groups can be defined. A login account is assigned to a user group. Each user group can have unique permissions to view, create, modify and delete.
Any number of documents can be uploaded and shared. You are only limited to the amount of disk space that you have been allocated to. Additional disk space can be purchased.
Data can be accessed thru a database API. Only certain editions are allowed to access the database in this way. The database API is a TBD protocol over HTTP.
Upgrading to a more feature rich edition does not require any data migration. A client cannot downgrade editions.
All passwords are encrypted in the database.
Access to the application requires a login password. All transactions after that are authenticated with a session key.
At lease one login per organization has 'administrative' control over the application.
Login users are assigned to 'login groups'. Each login group has different access rights.
Login access to content is controlled by permission levels (defined by the administrator) for each login group.
Access to the server is done with standard HTTP connections. This is mainly done for performance. Sensitive information is transfered with random encryption keys.
Most information is saved along with who (login user) and when it occured.
Critical data, when deleted, is not permanetley deleted until an administrative user puposely purges it.
Upload documents are archived on remote servers. A momentary delay may occur during retrieval.
Application Access:
Each person has their own, unique login account and password.
User accounts cannot be shared. Only one person can be logged in at one time
with the same credentials.
Billing:
Billing is done automatically the first of each month.
Major credit cards are accepted.
Termination of client account can be done at any time. There are no full or partial refunds.
Expired credit card information will automatically
deactivate client access.
Telephony:
You use your existing phones with OnSite Clarity Telephony.
You purchase 1 or more inbound numbers that is used for call routing to your existing phone numbers. You existing phones act as extensions to your new inbound phone number
Inbound numbers can be added and deleted on-demand.
Inbound number can be toll-free (866 or 877) or local.
There is no charge or limit to the number of outbound (extensions) numbers.
Call routing is customized per inbound number.
Inbound routing can be based on geography (caller state) and time of day.
There is no limit to the number of voice mails the system can maintain.
There is a fee to translate recording to text based on the length of the recording.
Simultaneous calling allows for multiple numbers to be called at one time. The first number answered is connected to, all remaining numbers are hung-up.
You can define delays in calling extensions.
Accounts and Contacts:
The number of accounts and contacts are only limited by the subscription being purchased.
You can tweet and see the status of a contact's Twitter account
You can quickly browse a contact's Linked-In public page.
Scheduling & Project Management:
There is no limit to the number of people assigned to an event.
All organization calendars are updated in real-time between user login accounts. Optional notification can occur as well.
Application:
OnSite Clarity has been in use since 2008. It is a follow-on application from our homebuilder application that has been
in use since 2002. The company has been providing productivity applications since 1996.
All development is done in-house. No development is sub-contracted to off-shore companies.
All customer support is provided by in-house staff who use OnSite Clarity as well.
OEM and Resellers:
We do not OEM OnSite Clarity.
We do not typically have relationships with Resellers. However, if you are a reseller and would like to discuss
various business models that would expand your business as well as our client base, please contact us.
Software Development Kit:
There is not currently a 3rd party SDK available.
Plug-ins are available to extend the features of
the application. Please contact us if you have a need for a plug-in extension.
